1. Who we are

2. What we store
To run the service we store the minimum needed:
- Scheduled content: the messages, embeds and image attachments you schedule, plus your saved templates;
- Discord identifiers and settings: your user ID and username (as author of a schedule), server, channel and thread IDs, per-user language and timezone, per-server settings and the webhooks used for delivery;
- Votes, credits and subscriptions: your vote count from bot lists (top.gg), server credits, and the entitlement Discord sends us when a server purchases Elite — payment data stays with Discord, we never see card or billing details;
- Dashboard session and logs: logging in with Discord gives us your basic profile (ID, username, avatar, email, server list) for the duration of the session; operational logs (delivery events, errors) include Discord IDs and are kept for troubleshooting.
We do not profile you and we do not sell or rent any of this data.
3. Why we store it
Only to provide the service: delivering your scheduled messages, enforcing plan limits, operating the credits system, and diagnosing problems.
4. Where it lives and who else is involved
Data is stored on the servers that run MsgPlanner. It necessarily flows through Discord (which delivers the messages) and, for the voting system, top.gg notifies us when you vote. No other third parties receive it.
5. How long we keep it
- Scheduled content and attachments: until you delete the schedule (or the cleanup of expired schedules removes it);
- When the bot is removed from a server, that server’s schedules and files are deleted (server admins can configure this behaviour);
- Anti-abuse record: we permanently keep a minimal record of servers (server ID and whether a free trial was used) to prevent trial abuse — this record contains no message content;
- Logs are rotated and deleted periodically.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data. The fastest way for most of it is direct: delete your schedules and templates, or remove the bot from your server. For anything else, contact us through the support server and we will handle it.
7. Website and dashboard
The dashboard uses a single technical session cookie to keep you logged in. On this website (www.discordmessageplannerbot.com) we use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate, how visitors use our pages. Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner: no analytics cookies are set before your consent, and you can refuse or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings. The service is provided by Google Ireland Ltd., acting on our behalf; the data is not used for advertising. No advertising cookies are used.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect stored data, but no system is perfectly secure: please do not schedule sensitive data (passwords, financial or personal information) through MsgPlanner.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be announced through our channels.
