1. Acceptance of Terms
By adding MsgPlanner to a Discord server or using any of its features (including the web dashboard at dashboard.discordmessageplannerbot.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the bot. You must also comply with Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including Discord’s minimum age requirement.
2. The Service
MsgPlanner schedules and delivers messages on Discord: one-time, recurring and calendar-based schedules, with rich formatting, embeds, attachments and delivery to text channels, announcement channels, threads and forum posts. You may use MsgPlanner in any server you help manage — including community, brand and business servers. Reselling MsgPlanner’s service, or repackaging it as part of your own paid offering, is prohibited.
3. Permitted Use and Restrictions
You agree not to use MsgPlanner to:
- violate any law or Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines;
- send spam or unsolicited mass messages, harass users, or disrupt servers or communities;
- attempt to bypass plan limits, quotas or anti-abuse measures (for example by rotating schedules, servers or accounts);
- reverse engineer, sabotage or interfere with the operation of the bot or its infrastructure.
Server administrators control who can use MsgPlanner in their server through Discord permissions and the bot’s authorized-roles setting; actions performed through the bot remain the responsibility of the user who configured them.
4. Free Plan and Elite Subscription
MsgPlanner offers a free plan and a paid subscription (“Elite”). The features and limits of each plan are described on our website and may change over time; changes to free-plan limits never delete your existing schedules, though schedules beyond the current limits may stop being delivered until the server returns within them.
The Elite subscription is purchased through the Discord Store as a server subscription. The price is the one displayed in the Discord Store at the time of purchase (taxes may apply). Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by Discord: you can manage or cancel the subscription at any time from Discord’s subscription settings, and refunds are governed by Discord’s refund policy. MsgPlanner does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside Discord’s process.
If an Elite subscription ends, the server returns to the free plan: existing content is not deleted, but features and schedules beyond the free limits stop being delivered as described on our website.
5. Free Trial
New servers may be eligible for a one-time free trial of Elite. The trial’s duration is shown at activation, one trial per server. To prevent trial abuse, we keep a minimal record of servers that have already used a trial, even after the bot leaves the server (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Credits and Voting Rewards
You can support MsgPlanner by voting for it on bot listing sites (such as top.gg). Votes earn you personal vote points, which you can donate to a server of your choice, where they become that server’s credits; credits can be redeemed for weeks of Elite, at the conversion rate and within the yearly limits shown in the bot and on our website.
Vote points and credits have no monetary value: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred between servers, exchanged for money or refunded. Donating points to a server is irreversible. We may adjust conversion rates or yearly limits for the future, and may remove points or credits obtained through manipulation of the voting systems.
7. Your Content
The messages, embeds and attachments you schedule are your content. You are responsible for it: it must comply with the law, with Discord’s rules and with the rules of the server it is delivered to. We store your content (including uploaded images) for as long as needed to deliver your schedules, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content; you grant us only the technical permission to store and deliver it on your behalf.
We may remove content or disable schedules that violate these terms.
8. Data and Privacy
How MsgPlanner collects, stores and deletes data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: we store the minimum needed to run the service (Discord IDs, schedule configuration and content, language and timezone preferences) and we do not sell your data.
9. Service Availability
Continuous availability of the bot or the web dashboard cannot be guaranteed. Every reasonable effort is made to keep the service operational, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, Discord outages or other technical issues. Scheduled messages that could not be delivered during an outage may be skipped rather than delivered late.
10. Updates and Modifications
We may update or modify MsgPlanner at any time — adding, changing or removing features — with or without prior notice. Material changes affecting paid features will be communicated through our announcement channels.
11. Suspension and Exclusion
We reserve the right to suspend or exclude users or servers that violate these Terms, abuse the service or harm other users, with or without prior notice. Where practical, we will state the reason on request through our support server.
12. Information and Accuracy
Documentation, the website and the support server are kept as accurate and current as reasonably possible, but absolute accuracy is not guaranteed. The limits and prices that apply are those shown in the bot, in the dashboard and in the Discord Store at the time of use or purchase.
13. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability
MsgPlanner is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of (or inability to use) the service — including missed or delayed deliveries, data loss or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision; material changes will be announced through the support server or the website. Continued use of MsgPlanner after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
